Sin­ce Febru­ary 9, 2019, pre­scrip­ti­on medi­ci­nes have car­ri­ed safe­ty fea­tures that are sub­ject to authen­ti­ca­ti­on befo­re being dis­pen­sed to the pati­ent. The legal basis for this is:
