Pati­ents should always be able to trust that they are recei­ving genui­ne medi­ci­nes in the legal sup­p­ly chain.

True to the mot­to ’secu­re medi­ci­nes - pro­tect pati­ents’, we are working with our mem­bers and part­ners (stra­te­gic sup­pli­ers) in Ger­ma­ny to pro­vi­de an IT sys­tem for che­cking the authen­ti­ci­ty of phar­maceu­ti­cal pack­a­ging in order to pro­tect the legal sup­p­ly chain. We are con­ti­nuous­ly impro­ving the sys­tem in order to increase its pro­tec­ti­ve effect. We sup­port the natio­nal com­pe­tent aut­ho­ri­ties in secu­ring and moni­to­ring the sup­p­ly chain with know­ledge and data from our sys­tem. We help them with data to the ext­ent per­mit­ted by law.
